Second edition (1 of 50) of 'Private Insurrections to Loosen Public Ground' (2021) a publication that collates and shares the auto-ethnographic project Mum Qs (2017-ongoing). A continuous artwork that collects questions people have for their Mums or Mother Figures via an anonymous online form. Began in 2017, it now has over 60 responses which ask messy, profound and painful questions about the gaps in our knowledge and our shared longing to know - asking 'why parents are sometimes unknowable to their children?' (Chloe Hough) and what this act of asking the ether may do for solidarity, healing and consciousness raising across generations. It features introductory prose essay 'Diaristic Mirrors' by Sophie + Kerri and an invitation to contribute.
